Overview

The main objective of the Master in Forestry and Natural Resources is to provide a proper university-level education to meet the versatile needs of the development of the Portuguese forest sector, including the sustainable management of forest ecosystems in order to ensure the conservation and sensible use of the forests and the interaction with forest products industries. Forest and Natural Resources Engineers are professionals who analyze, conceive, design, and guide the implementation of work on the multipurpose development of the forestry sector.
