OBJECTIVES | Understanding the basic concepts of some methodologies of Operations Research, as Monte Carlo simulation, linear programming, integer linear programming and multi-objective linear programming. Ability to identify and formulate a wide variety of problems that can be solved with these methodologies, in particular in the forest domain.
WEEKLY CONTACT HOURS | 5 hours = 2 x 2.5 h theoretical-practical classes.

EXAMINATION | CONTINUOUS by performing two works (0-20 each) and, for a student with an average of the work scores greater than or equal to 9.5, an oral test (0-20); a student is not approved if the average of the work scores is less than 9.5 or the average of the work and oral scores is less than 9.5; a student is approved if the average of the work and oral scores is at least 9.5. | FINAL EXAM (May 31, June 14, June 24) a student is approved if the exam score is at least 9.5 | A student can improve a positive score (NOT in the 1st call).
