The students will get a deeper understanding of the main challenges of the XXI century Viticulture by updating and improve their knowledge in currently relevant topics such as vineyard mechanization, yield forecast, precision viticulture, the impacts of climate change on viticulture and the use of biotechnology in the grape and wine industry. Furthermore, they will learn how to critically evaluate and integrate the knowledge obtained from previous Viticulture courses and from recent scientific literature in order to be able to deal with and to promote the sustainability of the grape and wine production industry.
