Dear Students,
You can check in Fenix your final assessment at the Wildlife Management course.
As referred in classes 0.25 of the mark is given by the written essay, 0.25 by the oral presentation and 0.50 by the written test.

I have added the papers to be discussed next week. Papers have same number as groups. Groups are:

Dear Students,
For the field visit tomorrow, Thursday 28th November, we should meet at the entrance of the main building in ISA at 8h30m. We should arrive at the visit site, Companhia das Lezírias, around 9h30m. There will be a room presentation by the forest managers of approximately half an hour, and then a visit to the area. The visit will last all morning and we should be back to ISA at around two o´clock.
Companhia das Lezíias is an estate with over 6000 ha of cork oak alongside with other forest species such as maritime and umbrella pine. The estate is FSC certified and as such as conservation areas addressing specific conservation values (species and habitat types). Hunting is also a common use, namely wild boar hunting, and they adopt different wildlife management approaches in the study area, related to topics discussed in classes.
Again, participate, ask questions and ... enjoy!
